Mrs Piper is the busybody cleaning lady in an office block. Whilst cleaning an office she finds a dead body and reports it to the police. However the body mysteriously disappears.
Detective Superintendent Harry Baxter arrives on the scene and attempts to determine the facts from the talkative Mrs Piper.
Baxter aided by his junior detective starts rounding up the other suspects, the boss’s wife, the company accountant, the secretary, and the typist. Everyone is a suspect until the victim shows up alive, but it’s not over yet with the arrival of body number two.
A fun whodunit.
